Committee comprises of academic body and intends to bring clinical

Call for Abstract & Scientific Paper Presentation
Dear AAPI Members,
For the upcoming Global Health Summit (GHS) AAPI – Manipal Meeting 2024, the Scientific Committee is calling for an abstract and scientific paper submission both for CME lectures and for research & poster session at the GHS.
The meeting will be offering 10 hours of AMA accredited CME over the two days.
The GHS focus will be on Artificial Intelligence (AI) related to healthcare and we invite state of the art or cutting-edge scientific papers on primary care, preventive medicine and other subspecialties in medicine and surgical discipline.
We invite submissions for:
A. CME Lecture presentation will be for 20-25 mins., followed by Q&A for 5-7 mins to a total of 30 minutes only. All submission should be accompanied by abstract and the slides in power point format (ppt only) to verify CME compliance.
B. Oral & Poster Scientific Paper presentation
All submission should be received by September 20th, 2023.
Papers accepted for CME lectures and for oral-poster presentation will be notified by Sept.
30th, 2023 by the Scientific Committee.
We encourage Medical Students, Residents & Fellows to participate and submit papers.
Organizing committee reserves the right to publish abstract in GHS Souvenir and in AAPI online peer reviewed journal – JAAPI- (Journal of AAPI) in the spring edition.
Submission Guidelines
General Instructions:
Registration for GHS Is compulsory for Abstract submission Abstract previously published or presented at a conference are not permitted.
Mode of presentation – Oral & onsite poster presentation, with limited virtual Poster presentation.
Best ORAL, POSTER and virtual Poster presentation will receive award that will be determined later.
All CME presentation is subject to CME compliance audit and clearance.
AAPI-GHS reserves the right as to type, number and the presenter for different session.

Abstract Submission:
All abstract submissions should have a precise and informative title Please avoid any type of abbreviations in the title.
The title should be followed by the names of all the authors of the Study, their Designations, Affiliated Institutes, Email id, and Contact details.
Abstracts should be structured with the following subheadings:
Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusion along with 5 relevant keywords.
The abstract should be limited to a maximum of 300 words.
There is no provision for any type of images/diagrams/pictures/graphics/tables in the abstract.
There is no restriction on the type of font and size.
Oral presentation guidelines
Title slide – Title, authors (with affiliation), presenting author underlined, Presentation submission slides should in Microsoft PowerPoint ppt format Basic rules of PowerPoint presentation should be followed Use light clear background color for slides Use minimum 36 font size in headings & 24 in body Use clear images, figures & tables for presentation Limit the number of slides for presentation to 10 – 12 including title & references slide
