AAPI Treasurer 2023-24
Dear AAPI members,
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. As the newly appointed Treasurer of our esteemed organization AAPI, it is my honor to serve you and work towards achieving our shared goals. In order to ensure transparency and clarity, I would like to outline the key responsibilities and objectives that I intend to fulfill during my tenure.
1. Financial Management: As Treasurer, I will maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including income, expenses, and budgetary allocations in association with AAPI President. It is my duty to provide regular financial reports to the Executive Committee and ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and laws.
2. Financial Controls and Risk Management: Maintaining strong financial controls is essential to safeguarding AAPI’s assets and maintaining the trust of our members. I will implement and monitor internal controls to prevent fraud, ensure compliance with financial policies, and mitigate financial risks.
3. Collaboration and Communication: Open and transparent communication is crucial to the efficient functioning of our organization. I will actively engage with the Executive Committee, general members to ensure that financial matters are effectively communicated and understood.
I am committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in my role as Treasurer. Together, let us work towards the advancement of AAPI’s mission and vision, utilizing our financial resources wisely to benefit our members and the AAPI community as a whole.
